Based in the Antelope Valley (about an hour from downtown Los Angeles), I specialize in illustration, design, and fine art.
I grew up with my nose practically buried in early 90's-era X-Men comics. It amazed me how rich Jim Lee's character designs were. Blue and gold teams. A Terribly terrific rogues' gallery. Jubilee... Drawing inspiration from those very comics, Disney movies, and an ever-ready stable of action figures, I've always been attracted to the brave & the bold–colors, forms, composition. Obsessing over the way those elements come together has helped me know when to follow the rules and perhaps, more importantly, when to break them.
Fast forward a decade or two and my interests widened to logo design and brand marks. I remember being very inspired by the idea of conveying volumes of information without saying much at all. Honesty in design through simplicity.
Coupling the frenetic energy of comics with the brevity of design, I began experimenting with both applying each in a versatile and varied style that now spans a wide range of aesthetics.
